Susie
Amundson, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA
Susie Amundson is the Executive Director of O.T. KIDS, Inc.,
a small publishing business in Homer, Alaska. She has an extensive
background in pediatric occupational therapy. As an occupational
therapist, Susie has provided services to children and families,
consulted to families and other child professionals, and worked
in clinics, home outreach, and the public schools. She lectures
internationally and nationally and has taught in two university
settings. Currently, she is a Clinical Faculty Member of the
Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of
Washington, Seattle. Susie is also the author of the Evaluation
Tool of Childrens Handwriting (ETCH), TRICS for Written
Communication, and various chapters and journal articles related
to school-based occupational therapy practice.
In addition, Susie is a workplace consultant specializing
in workplace team effectiveness. Based on her own research
and other empirical investigations, Susie developed an evidence-based
model of team effectiveness that is easily applied to the
work environment. She specializes in health and human service
team development through her business EQUILIBRIUM based in
