Alaska Quaternary Center
The web page for the Alaska Quaternary Center, a multi-disciplinary research center at UAF which brings together specialists and resources dealing with the Quaternary Period of geologic history. In Alaska, much of this research is on the Pleistocene Epoch, the time of the last major ice age.
