The Red-brested Nuthatch and the Black-capped Chickadee grace the spruce and birch forests of the North year-round. Even on the coldest winter days, these intrepid fellows are seen throughout the woods and are frequent visitors to my bird feeders. Carved to near real-life size, they are just the thing for the knickknack shelf.
