We are located 2 miles from the town of Soldotna which is 147 miles from Anchorage. There are 30 minute commuter flights available from Anchorage to our neighboring city of Kenai, or you may elect to rent a car and drive the 3 hours from Anchorage through breathtaking scenery. Mountains and glacial streams await you on this splendid drive. We highly recommend this drive if it is your first time to Alaska.

World class fishing awaits you a few steps from the lodge. Just 20 river miles from the saltwater "Cook Inlet", you can be assured the fish you catch will be fresh and full of maximum strength. We have fully licensed and insured guides, who will see to it that you have an optimum chance at landing a trophy fish. Most often our guides will depart from our dock at the lodge making your fishing adventure as comfortable as possible. All fishing gear will be provided by our guides. For those who would like to do some bank fishing, they may bring their own tackle and gear or the nearby tackle shop has equipment you can rent. We provide freezer space and will provide the service of cleaning your fish here at the lodge.
Alaska's weather can change very quickly. The average temperature in the summer can range from very cool, to a warm 75 degrees, so bring several layers of warm clothing and don't forget your rain gear and cameras. We recommend that you bring rubber knee boots or hip waders for comfort.
| Moose Creek Lodge is a 3,000 sq foot facility on the banks of the Kenai River. We have the ability to accommodate singles, couples, and moderate size groups in the main lodge or deluxe cabins. For those who enjoy the outdoors, a barbecue is available for you. With many fine restaurants in the area you have many options from which to choose. |
