Jumping
I avoid jumping. Knee injuries to good skiers usually happen while landing a jump and head injuries are more likely. If you are going to jump take these precautions
  • Wear a helmet
  • Only jump if you are sure you have a good landing. a good landing is free of rocks, trees, other people, and is on a slope. Do not land on flat ground.
  • Have one person stand at the jump to give the all clear. You do not want to land on another skier who you can't see below the jump.
