Pinawa, Manitoba, IAB Iron Meteorites for Sale

Location: Pinawa, Manitoba. About 3 miles west and 4 miles north of the town.

Found: 2005

Type: Coarse Octahedrite, IAB Iron.

Description: The meteorite was found on a gravel bar by a meteorite hunter. We believe this to be the only Pinawa meteorite available. The University of Calgary has the remainder. The meteorite has been analyzed but has not been submitted to the Nomenclature Committee of the Meteoritical Society yet.

This meteorite has been legally exported from Canada. A copy of the permit will be included with the specimen. This item is on consignment and is not in my possession.
