We spent some time on Long Island to be
with family at the end of August, and to get away for a short vacation
this summer.  Donna is part of the fourth generation to use the
bungalows on the North Fork, along Peconic Bay.  Mike thinks he's
married into the right family.  How wonderful to spend a week where
the biggest  responsibilities were digging clams for chowder and
hosing down the salty dog every night.  It's been a long time.

Sheida loved to be at a warm sandy
beach.  Once she learned the water was not very good to drink, she
swam and swam and swam.  A real waterdog!  Donna raced in the
Labor Day Sunfish race and did not come in last place.

    Back home, summer in
Anchorage continued to be spectacular and warm... lots of time spent
relaxing in the hammock...  and getting home ready for baby.
