`McCabe Family Home Page!`

We live in beautiful Petersburg, Alaska which is located in the center of the Southeast Alaska. Inquiring minds want to know... what have the McCabe's been up to lately?

John has been keeping busy around the house (answering to "Mr. Mom") ever since retirement. He enjoys traveling (always cost effectively), managing stocks, local politics, classical music, and painting "masterpieces of modern art."

Recently John and Carol have purchased a house in Palm Springs and will spend some time enjoying in the sun during the winter months.

Carol is a first grade teacher at Rae C. Stedman Elementary School in Petersburg. She enjoys quilting, reading, and baking. She also likes to spend time with family at our cabin in Duncan Canal. You probably can find Carol in her garden killing aphids who attack her garden in stampedes.

Annie is a junior at The University of Idaho located in Moscow, Idaho. She is majoring in music education and is enjoying all the opportunities available to her to play her French horn and the trumpet in the Sound of Idaho Marching Band. Annie enjoys hiking, biking, and being with friends in her free time. During the summer you can find her setting new fashion standards for cannery workers at Tonka Seafoods. :)

Caitlin is quite the gal. As a senior in high school, she is involved in music; she plays the flute, bass guitar, and the piano. She is looking forward to being an exchange student in Japan this summer. Caitlin also enjoys scrapbooking, cross stitching, rollerblading, playing volleyball.
