We live in South Anchorage on the Hillside. We have a beautiful view of Mount McKinley (Mt. Denali), Cook Inlet and the City of Anchorage. On clear days we can see the active volcanos Mt. Spurr (last erupted in 1992), Mt. Iliamna (last erupted in 1953) and Mt. Redoubt (last erupted in 1990). We are blessed with beautiful sunsets and with the city and northern lights nights it's like Christmas all winter long. |

We're visited all year long by moose bedding down in our yard and have wolves, bears, eagles and porcupines stop by every so often. |

The City of Anchorage encompasses 1,955 sq. miles (782 hectares) - about the size of the state of Delaware. Our population is approximately 254,000. Anchorage is a fast growing city. Click here to see how we've changed. |
