The final product for this project will be a labeled photo album of at least 15 pictures showing some of the Geometry that surrounds you everyday.

What Should I Look For?????? Shapes Symmetry Angles Parallel Lines Circles Similar Figures Congruence Area Polyhedra Arcs Perpendicular Lines Polygons Now the fun begins, load up your camera with a roll of 24 pictures or more and start taking pictures of the geometry around you. You might go on a bike ride and look for examples, or maybe head to a museum or art gallery, perhaps you explore some gardens or take a walking tour of downtown to find geometry in buildings. Wherever you go, look for geometry is both 2 and 3 dimensions. HAVE FUN!!!!

Step 3 | Have the pictures developed. | ||
Step 4 | Choose at least 15 (you can choose more) of the best pictures, organize them into groups by topic. | ||
Step 5 | Use your textbook as a reference and compose captions that describe the geometry of each picture. | ||
Step 6 | Pick three of your pictures and write a paragraph or two about each one that fully explains the geometry you see in the picture. | ||
Step 7 | Use a computer and choose appropriate fonts and page layouts to best show off your pictures. | ||
Step 8 | Place the pages, in order, in clear plastic sleeves in a 1/2 inch ring binder. | ||
Step 9 | Make an illustrated cover page that includes title, your name and the date. (insert this in a plastic sleeve also) |
