LITTER PATROLS

The on-going battle to control litter in the Capital City...

Cleaning up along the highway

Throughout the summer and fall seasons, we enlist the aid of various clubs and organizations to clean up targeted areas. If your club is thinking of a fund raiser, this might be a good one to consider.

Along with other tasks, we offer public education to all members of the community with an emphasis on educating the younger school children.

Captain Clean visits with Juneau School children

This is where we employ the services of our fearless, red-caped, super cleaning machine "Captain Clean” to teach good “litter free” habits and participation in recycling.

“We are striving not only for a clean and healthy environment for all citizens of the City and Borough of Juneau, but an even more beautiful area to live and enjoy while hosting our many visitors throughout the year."

From visiting family members, to tourists, to State Legislators, we want them to remember the Capital City of Alaska as being a lovely place to visit, both for its natural beauty as well as its clean streets, beaches and public areas. We wish that when they leave, they would like to visit again someday.”
