Alaska Department of Health & Social Services
Eligibility Guide
o Working*
or
o Attending school
and
o Income eligible - assistance is based on family size and gross monthly income. The range is broad and many working people qualify.
o Age eligible - The Child Care Assistance Program covers children up to 13 years of age,
or children 13 to 19 years of age who have a developmental disability.

If you meet the above qualifications, you may be eligible to receive assistance with your child care costs.
*You may be eligible to receive assistance if you are seeking work.
For further information and confirmation of your eligibility, please call for an appointment.

o Income Verification: pay stubs, self-employment (license, income &
o deductions), child support documentation, unemployment printout,ATAP
