This family connection is suspect, Euphemia and Matthew had four sons with the same names as Archie's Father and three Uncles but they were somewhat common names (John, James, Matthew and William). Matthew Sr.'s tombtone is about 30 feet from an obelisk bearing an inscription in memory of Archie's parents. This Matthew Sr. had a son who lived in Michigan, who along with another son Alexander, a Minister at Brechin Scotland, put up Matthew Sr.'s tombstone in Cambusnethan Scotland.
