Field Services

KLI emphasizes the integration of sound field capabilities with other program components in managing and carrying out diverse environmental and oceanographic studies. KLI has an outstanding record for obtaining data of the best integrity. By utilizing full-time field personnel, KLI is able to provide experienced teams with little lead time for most programs. In addition, KLI's policy of including senior scientists in the field team has resulted in better coordination of study efforts and reliable data return and analysis.

On-Site Analyses

KLI provides on-site analytical and toxicological capabilities such as:

• Portable GC and fluorometric hydrocarbon analyses
• Soil vapor analyses
• Determination of routine water quality parameters (total residual chlorine, dissolved oxygen, pH, conductivity, salinity, turbidity, etc.)
• Mobile on-site laboratories for effluent and receiving water testing
• Field computers, plotting, and data analysis

Logistics

KLI has the capability of providing well-organized field logistics for any type of project, from small single-day sampling efforts to multidisciplinary long-term programs. Our field teams are highly experienced in remote area logistical support where harsh environments and adverse conditions characterize many survey efforts. This is particularly valuable since remote study efforts require extensive coordination between the client, managers, and field teams. Logistics services include:
