The King Ko - And Alaska - Await Your Arrival

Experience Alaska fishing and hunting at its best at the KING KO INN. The 2008 season has arrived and we are again open for the season. Our King Salmon reservations desk can now be reached at (907) 246-3377. Several members of our 2007 staff have returned after a winter of relaxation and adventure - all with new stories to swap. We also have added a sprinkling of new faces around the place - guaranteed to be just as interesting and unique as last year's staff. Be sure to stop by to say hi to the returners and introduce yourself to the new crew. If you haven't visited King Salmon in a while, you really need to check us out. Our lodge has been newly renovated. We've spruced up several of our guest cabins with new carpeting and paint since last year. Our restaurant will soon be open, serving up the best food in Bristol Bay. And, needless to say, we remain Bristol Bay's favorite watering hole. But more important than all else is our staff - the friendliest (and most interesting) in Alaska.

For those who haven't visited us lately, we now have huge crab pots in the bar for those who want to safely shake their buoys to the beat of our live entertainment or our awesome new music system. As always, the foosball, pool and whipped cream are free in the bar. But despite all of this excitement and change, the same old frontier spirit survives at the King Ko.

We are located in the heart of King Salmon, Alaska, about 300 air miles southwest of Anchorage. Are you tired of combat fishing shoulder-to-shoulder along a crowded riverbank or playing "bumper cars" with other fishing boats? Then King Salmon is the place for you! King Salmon is the home of the world's best sportfishing and hunting. Sports Afield calls it Alaska's best outdoor sportstown. King Salmon is also the gateway to Katmai National Park - home of the famous Valley Of 10,000 Smokes and the gigantic Alaskan Brown Bear. Our fall caribou and moose hunting opportunities are fantastic. In short, King Salmon is a sportsman's and sportswoman's paradise. Not only did Sports Afield proclaim King Salmon as "Alaska's Best Outdoor Sports Town" two years running, it also recommended the King Ko Inn as the place to stay when visiting King Salmon. Try us, you won't regret the choice.
