While generally out of fashion here in the U.S., glossy pantyhose are a favorite of stylish European women. They are wonderful for a fancy evening out or, as you can see in the pictures below, they can give a dressy touch to an everyday skirt suit.

This summer I was able to spend a few days in Las Vegas. While there I had
an appointment at the A Harmony Nail Spa, to have my hair and nails done. Here are a few
pictures of the results.
A girl can't go wrong with basic black. Of course, to keep from looking
like you just returned from your Aunt Sarah's funeral, it's best to mix in
a bit of color. Here I'm wearing one of my favorite blouses, a classic semisheer
olive colored silk blouse, with a classy black skirt suit, jet black Hanes
Silk Reflections
pantyhose, and a pair of black eelskin pumps. With the right accessories and
a change in make up, this is a look that can go from day to evening with ease.
Earlier this year I spent some time down in Seattle visiting friends and
doing some shopping. Here are a few pictures of the outfits I wore while out
and about on the town.
Once again, I had a wonderful time at the annual Esprit Transgender Conference in Port Angeles, Washington. In fact, I had such a good time and was so busy during the week that I only had a chance for these few pictures.
Here I am wearing one of my favorites, a creme colored silk skirt suit by Jones of New York. I think it looks great and it feels wonderful. On the day I took these pictures I was feeling a bit silly, I guess. Do you like the hat? Is it me?
The keen observer will notice in these pictures that instead of wearing
high heel pumps or slingbacks, I am actually wearing a pair of sandals. Sometimes
I have a difficult time finding stylish shoes in my size, so when a cute pair
of heels is available, I'll generally snatch them up. I think that they give
this entire outfit a very 1940's look.
