Powerline Pass Trail

Powerline Pass trail - From the Glen Alps trailhead it is 6 miles of easy hiking through and open alpine valley to Powerline Pass and a great view of Anchorage and Cook Inlet.  The trail climbs over the pass then drops steeply, as it continues down the Indian Creek Valley, through a spruce forest to the trailhead at Indian.  Do not take the route over Powerline Pass in winter due to extremely high avalanche hazard.
