Thunderbird Falls Trail

On the Glenn highway at mile 25, take the Thunderbird Falls exit.  Follow signs 1 mile to a parking lot at trailhead.  Easy hiking with boardwalk and viewing areas.  Birch forest on steep hill overhanging Eklutna Canyon.  Views of 200 foot high Thunderbird Falls.  In winter, the falls freeze producing ice sculptures.
