Long Distance Rider:   One who will ride 1000 miles for lunch or dinner with friends, then turn around and ride home the long way; or will ride across the continent on a weekend; and maybe turn around and head back the next day; or will ride from Washington State to Maine - by way of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska; or will ride from Mississippi to Alaska and back to get a few break-in miles on a new bike.   In other words, they like to ride.

These pages are dedicated to the riders who understand that kind of riding; to those still here, and to those who have ridden on ahead to check out the road we'll all travel some day.

The photos shown herein were all taken on motorcycle rides, and illustrate just a small portion of the scenery to be enjoyed while riding here in Alaska, neighboring Yukon Territory, Alberta, and British Columbia in Canada, and in some of the smaller states "down south".
