Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together the beef, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
Press the mixture into a 9x13 inch cake pan to form a shell.
Bake the shell 15 minutes, then pour off any excess fat. (Shell will shrink somewhat during baking... After baking, I like to transfer shell to a cookie sheet for easy removal after pizza is done.)
On your beef shell, spread pizza sauce. (Don't get too carried away)
Top with your favorite pizza toppings and cover with a healthy amount of shredded mozzarella. (I like to sprinkle a bit in between layers too)
Bake until cheese is browned and pizza bubbles. (about 20-25 min.)
Transfer pizza to large cutting board and let cool for 10 minutes. Cut into squares to serve.
This is even great reheated
in the microwave the next day.
