Crock Pot Ribs
 


 
 

3 pounds boneless country style ribs
¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped celery
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup water
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon Sugar Twin brown sugar substitute
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Brown spare ribs on each side and then place in crock pot.

Combine all other ingredients and pour over the ribs.

Cover and cook on med/hi for three hours.

Remove meat from cooking juices and place in serving dish.

Save cooking juices as they can be used again…  After they’ve cooled, I put them in the fridge overnight…  The next day, it’s easy to peel the fat off and discard…  Cooking juices store well in the fridge, or may be frozen.
