Caribou...the wandering deer of the North! Amazingly, the females have antlers also…the only deer species in which this occurs. John will explain how this could have happened through natural selection. You can always expect to see caribou on the Denali Parks Expedition. However, it is possible to see them on all the other Expeditions as well. Once, on the Denali/Wrangell Expedition, about 1000 animals passed alongside us!
