The Song of Solomon is more than a beautiful song and poem Solomon wrote for one of his wives. It is a love letter from Jesus Christ to His people – the BODY OF CHRIST, the church with out spot or wrinkle (SOS 4:27; Eph 5:27). Jesus is the beloved and the church is the Shulamite. If you are ever feeling low and downtrodden, read this book. It tells us how much the Lord really loves us.
It is full of current and future descriptions of our relationship with Christ. It also reveals and corroborates prophecy. Read it with an open mind and you will start to see these relationships. One prophecy that it reveals is the 'rapture' or 'catching away' of the church.

and all the trees.
30 "When they are already budding, you see and know for
yourselves that summer is now near.
31 "So you also, when you see these things happening, know that
the
kingdom of God is near.

51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but
we shall all be changed--

For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.

Our God has an even stronger love for us and woe to the ones that try to harm us. When God shows His love for us He will put us in a safe place so we are not harmed by His battle with the wicked. Woe to those that are still here when God rises up to our defense. This is why the Shulamite says to not stir up or awaken love in till it pleases because it will be far from pleasant.
