HOW TO BE SAVED!

You need a savoir in this life in order to make it to your next life in heaven. The savior you need is Jesus Christ the Son of God.. This web page will show you what you need to do to be saved. Every argument and statement will be based solely on the Bible, God’s holy word of truth. God loves you very much and dearly wants you to be saved. Like most things in life, salvation is a choice, a decision that must be made by you and by you alone. It is a decision not made lightly for this decision must be made with your heart. For once you make this decision you will become a new person, a person filled with truth and life, a person that loves and is dedicated to God (It’s Wonderful!). There are no strings attached, no forms to fill out, you don’t have to stop doing this or that, all you have to do is make the decision and God will take it from there. Believe me, this is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. Please choose wisely.

Romans 3:10-12 **

10 As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;

11 There is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God.

12 They have all turned aside; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one."

You can be the nicest, friendliest, most courteous person in the world but if you don't accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, you are ungodly and unrighteous. There are a lot of people that may come to your mind that fit this description. They are ungodly and unrighteous in the eyes of God. And in the end His opinion is the only one that counts, not yours. Sorry.

Romans 3:23

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

All have sinned.  That means everybody.  All people need forgiveness of sin, even the nicest people you know. That is precisely why I am telling you this so you too can let others know.

Romans 5:12

12 Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Not only do we need forgiveness from sin we need deliverance from it.  We sin because we are sinners, sinners by nature, a nature which we inherited from our father Adam.  We need deliverance from the our nature that causes us to sin.  Otherwise we will just keep on sinning.  God wants us to stop sinning and he has made a way for us to do just that.  Read on.

Hebrews 9:22

22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

Romans 5:8-10

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

GOD LOVES YOU!  He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die in your place so you don’t have to.  This is God’s way and He does not waver or depart from His spoken word.  He also will not go back on His promise to you. God cannot lie. We are justified in God the Father’s sight by Jesus’ death and bloodshed.  Jesus had to die and shed His blood for us so our sins could be forgiven (remitted) by God the Father.  Not only are our sins are forgiven but we don't have to sin any more because our sinning nature is put-to-death by the resurrection power of God that raised Jesus from the dead.  We are set free from the power of sin because Jesus and His resurrection power live in us so we can live holy and pure lives.  The believer’s life is now in right relationship with God and they can live a life acceptable to God through Jesus who lives in them.  We are saved by His life!

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The wages of sin is still death - everlasting torment in the Lake of Fire (Hell).  If you die in your sins you will go to hell.  The good news is that Jesus died in our place so we don't have to go to hell.  If we receive Jesus as Lord and Savior He will present us before His Father holy and blameless. God gives us a free gift we do not deserve and all we have to do is accept it. Only through God’s tremendous love for us do we receive this gift, the gift of eternal life with God. Thank you Jesus!

Romans 8:37

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

God says we don’t have to worry about losing the battle once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus will help us through all trial and tribulation set before us. We are victors in the battle for eternal life through our faith in Jesus.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

There is nothing that can separate us from God once we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. As long as we keep our faith in Jesus and walk in the righteousness He give to us, not even Satan and his angels can separate us from Him. This is really good news.

Romans 10:8-13

8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

13 For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Acts 2:37-38

37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

All you have to do to be saved is (from your heart) repent of your sins, ask God for forgiveness, confess with your mouth (say it out loud) that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and was raised from the dead, and be baptized (full immersion in water) in the name of Jesus Christ. Once you do this Jesus takes over and helps you live a godly and righteous life. God’s Holy Spirit will dwell within you, helping you and guiding you.

Romans 12:3

3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Romans 10:17

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

John 14:16-17

16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--

17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 16:13

13 "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

God gives each of us the measure of faith we need to make our decision for Jesus Christ. Once we make that decision we need to hear and read God’s word, the Holy Bible. The Spirit of God dwells in us and guides us. The Sprits helps us understand what we are reading in the Bible and reveals the truth to us not only in what we read but in all things we do and see. Reading the Bible increases your faith by teaching you God’s truth.

1 John 1:8-10

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

The Spirit will let you know what you should do and what you shouldn’t do. He will lead you in all aspects of your life. He will remind you what you have learned in the Bible. He will convict you if you do something wrong. Just listen to Him and go before the Father in the name of Jesus and confess your sins and He will forgive you. No questions asked.

Please make your decision today. Do not delay long for you or I do not know what tomorrow will bring. Jesus loves you. Give your heart to Jesus.

Prayer of Faith and Salvation

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am sorry for all the sins I have committed in my life.

Please forgive me.

I believe with all my heart that Your Son Jesus died for my sins and that He was raised to life from the grave.

I confess to you now that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

I don’t want to sin anymore and I want to be good in your sight.

Please bless me with your Holy Spirit that He will dwell in me and guide me.

Thank You Father.

I ask these things in the precious name of Your Son Jesus Christ.

If you have sincerely prayed the preceding prayer, CONGRATULATIONS! You are now a new member of God’s family. We welcome you. Praise God! He loves you!!

You are now a newborn babe in Christ.  Just as babies and children need loving parental care so do new Christians.  Please find a loving fellowship of believers that teach that the Bible is God’s revealed word to us and live in its precepts.  Spend time in fellowship with them so you will grow up strong and healthy.  The Christian’s spiritual food is the word of God and spiritual drink is the Holy Spirit.  Mature loving Christians have the God given ability and mission to care for new Christians by ministering the word and Holy Spirit to them.  They will help you to understand the teachings of God in the Holy Bible and help you begin your new life as a born again believer.  It is a wonderful, miraculous life you have now.  You have Jesus!  This is the love you have been waiting for all your life.  Yippee!
