Fish and Master Big Game guide, 65 miles south of King Salmon in the Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge In 1998 there were five out of six successful moose hunters. We had an average spread of 64.8 inches, the largest one measuring out at 71 inches. A closer picture of the 66 inch one is below.
Trophy moose “I’m John Phillipi from Arizona and this is my guide, Gary Keen (blue hat). Gary talked me up to this beautiful 66 inch moose. It has nice long points with a total of 9 brow tines. Gus knows how to hire the guides and has a great area for moose.”
