Team Rules

1) Academics are the first and foremost. Our  goal is to win with our bodies and our minds. The Team GPA award should be as much of a goal as the championship.

2) Attendance is mandatory to success.  You must  have the will to be the best you can be and that means coming to practice.  If you can't come to practice, have a good excuse.  If you are in school you should be at practice.  If you miss practice the week of a race, you will be excluded from the varsity team, unless you have a very good excuse.

3)  Respect your team mates, your coaches, your family, and most of all yourself.  No drugs, alcohol, or tobacco are permitted.  This should go without saying.  Respect your body like a shrine, it's the only one you'll ever have.  Eat well, sleep well, train well, and YOU WILL RACE WELL!!

4)  Pride is something that no one can ever take from you.  Be proud of your team,  your school, your coaches, and most of all yourself.  You are special, you are you. Dress up on a school day before a meet.  Wear your uniform with pride, with the shirt tail tucked in.  Wear your warm ups before and after the meet and wear your full warm up suit with your jacket zipped when you receive an award.  Stand and cheer for your team mates when they get an award.  BE PROUD!!!

5)  Be disciplined, for all of life's successes are due to discipline.  Train hard, make the sacrifices necessary to achieve your goals and be disciplined in the pursuit of your dreams.   BE TRUE TO YOURSELF AND TO THOSE AROUND YOU!!
