Coaching Staff 
Coach Nick Ramharter
Assistant Coach Nick Ramharter has been with the East High Cross Country Running Team since 1996. It will also be the start of his 20th year as a coach and teacher in the Anchorage School District.

Coach Nick is a local guy, a graduate of Dimond High School in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree, in Education, from the University of Idaho and a Master of Science Degree in Human Performance, form the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently teaching physical education at Hanshew Middle School.
Nick is an avid runner, mountain biker, and triathlete in the local racing scene. This summer he completed The Mayor's Marathon as well as several other races. He enjoys spending time with his family, wife, Kim, daughter, Jordan, and son, Josh.

They all enjoy being out on the local trails, whether it be running, biking, hiking or skiing.

Coach Ramharter is looking forward to another successful season at East. 


Coach Lisa Keller
Coach Lisa Keller joined the T-Bird staff in 1998 as a coach of the cross country running team and became head distance coach of the track team in 2001.  Lisa was born and raised in Anchorage and is an alumni of East High where she ran cross country, skied and ran track.  She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and is fitness certified through the YMCA.

Lisa is an avid athlete.  She has many top placements in both running
and triathlons including her first place finish in the 1999 Gold Nugget Triathlon.  She is one of the founders of the Run for Women, was formally the fitness director at the YMCA, was a coach in the Anchorage Youth Track League and is currently an Alaska Sports Academy coach.

She is married to Victor and has two daughters, Kira and Ciana.
