Reservations for Tours & Sightseeing

The Crow's Nest will be happy to make arrangements for any of the activities below. Please send payment in full by check made payable to Denali Crow's Nest, or we can charge your credit card.

Activity Cancellation Policy

You must cancel 30 days in advance for each activity or you will be charged in full. There is a 10% cancellation fee regardless of cancellation date once your activity has been confirmed. For the Alaska Railroad, cancellations must be received at least 45 days prior to date of travel in order to receive a refund subject to a $50.00 cancellation fee. Within 24 hours of travel date, tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable.

Tundra Wildlife Tour

A narrated 6 to 8 hour tour, approximately 60 miles into the Park. Includes a snack box and beverage. Book this tour early as often space is not available once the operating seasons begin.

PRICES: Adults $75.50 - Children(14 and under)- $40.25

SCHEDULE: Departs daily. Morning tours depart between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m.; afternoon tour departs between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.

Note: The morning tour will NOT get you back in time to catch the south-bound train to Anchorage.

Natural History Tour

A narrated 3-hour bus tour into the Park. Light snack and beverage are included.

PRICES: Adults $41.00 - Children(11 and under)-$23.00

SCHEDULE:Three departures daily: 6:00 to 7:30a.m., 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Note: The morning tour will get you back in time to catch the south-bound train to Anchorage.

N.P.S. Shuttle Bus System

A transportation system in the Park. Private vehicles are prohibited into the Park beyond Mile 15. Advance reservations for the shuttle bus seats should be made by calling 800-622-7275 (PARK) or you may go to the Visitor Center here at Denali between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to make reservations up to two days in advance on a space available basis.

Kantishna Wilderness Trails One Day Tour

A full-day narrated, motor coach bus trip into the Park (95 mile one-way). A hot lunch at the historic Roadhouse is included. Tour departs approximately 6:30 a.m. and returns to the East end of the Park by 7:30 p.m.

Horseback Riding

Fully outfitted horseback adventures throughout the beautiful Alaska Range. Trips vary: 1 hour ride -$65.00; 2 hour ride -$95.00. Full day trips available. Please call for times and details.
