Went for a hike over to China Poot and visited Nathan and Carolyn Bagley's studio and gallery of birch burl artwork. They are truly beautiful. Nathan roughs out the burls with a variety of carbide wheels. Carolyn then finishes the pieces with a variety of sanders. What a fun thing to do in retirement!
Another wonderful place in Peterson Bay is the Peterson Bay Lodge, owned and operated by Debbie and Gary Siems. They also have one of the 3 oyster farms in Peterson Bay.
