Lisa Walker showcase I paint because it helps me see the world around me. The skill of the artist's hand is nothing compared to the comprehension of his vision. I also paint because painting well demands absolute concentration, and rewards me with a rare exhilaration.

I have a great love for beautiful color, both subtle and bold, and my hope is that I can convey in my paintings the beauty I see in the natural world. I feel great happiness and wonder every time I paint, and I hope my paintings inspire those feelings in you.
