Here is a picture of my first robot. I'm afraid he has turned into spare
parts. I finally decided that I needed some more working room. I took
me a full
winter season just to get it going in a straight line - it and I had
a definite love-hate relationship. But that's where I learned enough
to build Fred, robot #2.
Robot #1 has a Zorin 68HC11 processor board
with 32K memory programmed in Sbasic, I/R detection, sonar, wheel
encoders, separate motor and control
batteries. I learned about
power supplies and batteries the hard way.
