These turkeys are raised by 4-H members. They eat quality food, and are handled with care. They are put up for bid at the Jr. Market Livestock Auction at the Alaska State Fair in Ninilchik. John Davis of KSRM Radio bids aggressivly for the champions, and graciously donates the blue ribbon birds for this Guess the Weight Contest.

The 2004 turkey is "Drumstick" a Bronze hen turkey raised by Colt McDonald. She won Blue ribbon at Ninilchick State Fair. KSRM also provided Cad-Re Feeds with a Bronze Grand Champion Turkey. This "Tom" was instantly smitten with the hen. Come on by and visit the turkeys, and make your best guess.
