Venture north of the Arctic Circle to the land of the midnight sun.

Travel deep into the heart of the Brooks Range to a wilderness lodge

and witness the vast landscapes, jagged peaks and the beauty of the 8-million

acre Gates of the Arctic National Park. This undeveloped pristine

destination is seen by less than 1% of all visitors to Alaska each year.

 

(1) DEPARTURE FROM  FAIRBANKS

Depart Fairbanks to Bettles.  Enjoy a scenic flight from following the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline north over the mighty Yukon River. Cross the Arctic Circle and marvel at the Brooks Range and Gates of the Arctic National Park. Be greeted by your hosts as you arrive at Bettles Lodge. Learn first hand the additional add on adventures available and schedule them around your visit. Take advantage of the long daylight hours and enjoy a walk through the forest. Overnight guests booking after Aug 15^th will have the added bonus of with darker nights there is the possibility of seeing the wonderful Aurora displays the Arctic offers. (2) Gates of the Arctic National Park Headquarters

Visit the Park headquarters and enjoy a slide presentation    to discover more about the Gates of the Arctic National Park.

 

RETURN FLIGHT TO  FAIRBANKS After lunch receive your official Arctic Circle certificate and enjoy a scenic flight to Anchorage or Fairbanks where your Gates of

the Arctic Adventure comes to an end.

 

Dasy tour includes: Airfare from Fairbanks, lunch at the historic Bettles Lodge, Koyukuk River Boat Tour, Arctic Circle Certificate, and National Park Service slide show.
