EventsThe next meeting of Copper
Basin Search and Rescue, which was
scheduled for Tuesday evening, May 11th, will
be canceled, so that
CBSAR members can attend the ICS (Incident
Command System) Course
being offered by the Division of Forestry.
This is a 16-hour course,
and will be held on the first two
Tuesdays and Thursdays in May--May 4th, 6th,
11th, and 13th--from
6:00 to 10:00 each evening at the CREMS office
in Tazlina.
If you are interested in
taking this course, please pick up a
workbook from Rocky Ansell at the CREMS office,
and complete it
before the first class.

Copper River Infant Learning Program
is a state funded Progam that is available to residents of the Basin ages
birth to three. It is sponsered by ACCA in Fairbanks. This organiztion
has been serving people with disabilities since l956. We do developmental
screenings and assessments and have a lending library (toys, children's
books, and parenting info.)available. Stop by our office in the old
PWSSC building at Tazlina. Children are eligible if they are born
with a condition, are delayed in some area or at-risk for delays.
We are family centered and do most of our service in your home. There
are Pre-school Playgroups available in Chistochina, Chitina, Kenny Lake,
and
Glennallen. Some are community
sponered and others are sponsered by The Infant Learning Program.

Lutheran Church meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of themonth at Copper
Center School during the school year. During thesummer, we meet at
Copper Center Fire Hall. Sunday School and BibleClass are at 10:15

1st Sunday of the month at 9:45 AM, and Bible Study on the 3rd Tuesday
