GEOLOGY I SYLLABUS

The class is open to all 10-12th grade students. The class is also open to ninth grade students with a grade of B or better in 8th grade core subjects.

We were late in receiving new texts this year because the books needed to be hard bound. Students are therefore starting off in last year's text for the first three chapters. Since this is the transition year to the new texts, the schedule below is tentative.

"NEW TEXT": Essentials of Geology, Seventh Edition, 2000, Lutgens, Frederick K. and Tarbuch, Edward J., Prentice Hall.
