Most of our day kayaking trips afford the opportunity for hiking in the Columbia Glacier area. The hike along the abandoned Columbia moraine pictured above is one of our favorites. The open meadows and alpine slopes of Glacier Island overlooking the camp offer spectacular vistas for those who want to combine a short kayaking trip with a longer hike (right). The open rolling meadows leading to the large lakes above Billy's Hole in Long Bay (below) offer kayakers an opportunity to stretch their legs after a long paddle.
