ARCS is a system of satellite fed low power television transmitters providing free over the air service to 235 communities spread through all regions of the State of Alaska. This system is owned and funded by the State.

The program content is a mix of public and commercial television network and syndicated product, Alaskan produced news and public affairs, and educational and informational programs for various sources.
