![]() Arctic 56 Elects 2003 Officers
Arctic 56 held its annual elections for club officers at the club meeting held on March 8, 2003 at Bell's Nursery.
Attendance for the meeting was average and Bell's Nursery offered free drinks and popcorn while club members were
able to view some of the new pieces introduced for spring. Sean Monico opened the meeting on bright warm
day and proceeded to open the floor for nominations. Rosemary Slisz who previously served on the board as the
NCC Rep has stepped down due to her appointment by the NCC to serve as the Region 9 Rep. This was quite the honor and
Rosemary was recognized in the both the NCC Bulletin as well as during the club meeting. Congratulations to Rosemary!
Another board member, Lynette Walker, was also vacating her position after serving two years. Her contributions, energy
and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated and Lynette will actively continue her membership in the club. She is stepping down
to give other club members an opportunity as well as be able to devote more time to her family. Thank you Lynette for
your support, help and generous time commitments! The club truly appreciates your contribution.
After announcements were made, President, Sean Monico reviewed each board position one by and had club members who
were present vote for the respective positions. Check out the results of the elections listed below. If you have
