Located 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Anchorage and the airport, this inn lies in a natural wooded area with views of the Chugach Mountain Range, Cook Inlet, Mount Susitna and Denali Mountain. The natural landscaping is combined with rock gardens, flower gardens and an herb garden. Much scenery, including birds and animals, can be seen from the large redwood deck.
An open kitchen is available and wonderful views may be seen from the office which is equipped with typewriter, computer and fax machine. A full breakfast with fresh flowers and fine china includes B&B sourdough waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream served with caribou sausage. Walk to the Alaska Zoo, hiking, walking trails and horseback riding. Drive to a golf course, a six-million-acre state park, fine restaurants, shopping, and downtown Anchorage with museums, Botanical Gardens, parks and theaters. Within one to five hours driving time skiing, water skiing, sailing, fishing and backpacking can be found. |
