Harpoon shaft with detachable head, used in hunting seal and walrus. Materials: wood, caribou horn, ivory, synthetic sinew, hide strips and painted designs in red and black (any designs on bone or ivory is scrimshawed or inlaid with baleen.)
Approx. 6 feet long and 2inches in diameter before taper. ($1,900.00)
Three piece throwing spear set, consisting of spear, board and caribou horn shaft straighter.
Measurements: Throwing spear approx.50” long. Throwing board 17” long and 2” wide before taper.
Materials: wood, feathers, ivory, baleen, and red, white and black painted designs, synthetic sinew, and red and blue yarn. ($950.00)
