Travel north to Denali Park with options including Eklutna Indian Graves, Talkeetna, etc. Board 7-hour guided wildlife tour within Denali Park. Continue to Fairbanks with stop in historic Nenana. Just outside Fairbanks, visit Santa Claus House at North Pole. As you near Glennallen, the beautiful Wrangell-St. Elias Mountain Range will come into view. Drive to the ghost town of Chitina and browse through the art store. Continue to McCarthy and Kennicott, the rich copper mining area. The route to Valdez is a very scenic one, with views of Worthington Glacier and 900' high Bridal Veil Falls. Drive onto the ferry & cruise through majestic Prince William Sound to Whittier. Drive thru the tunnel to Portage & learn about Portage Glacier.

Begin journey to Homer, with a stop at Portage Glacier. You can take the side road to Ninilchik to the White Russian Orthodox Church which overlooks the sea. Travel to Cooper Landing for a leisurely float trip on the Kenai River. Eagles and moose are freque ntly observed here. Continue to Seward with an optional Wildlife Cruise. From Portage, drive thru tunnel to Whittier. Ferry through wildlife-rich Prince William Sound to Valdez. Depart to McCarthy and Kennicott, with views of Worthington Glacier & Bridal Veil Falls in beautiful Keystone Canyon. Arrive in Chitina & travel to the Kennicott River. Tour the old abandoned Kennicott Copper Mine, nestled deep in the heart of the Wrangle-St. Elias National Park, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks. Pass through Chitina, Copper Center, & Glennallen. Continue to the Matanuska Valley, home of the world's largest vegetables. Visit the Iditarod Headquarters & stop at the Musk Ox Farm (optional). Continue to Anchorage with a brief optional stop at the Indian cemetery.
