Alaska is an excellent destination for golf during the summertime with the 20 hours of daylight. The courses are challenging with scenic views of mountains and wildlife. LPGA Professional Sarah Bakefelt will be joining you on the tour & providing golf cli nics before playing at each course.

Day 1 ANCHORAGE ARRIVAL Meet & Assist in Anchorage. You will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 2 ANCHORAGE - MALLEY GOLF COURSE - GIRDWOOD O'Malley on the Green golf course is narrow & challenging w/ 18 holes, Par 72. Iron shots are needed. Travel along Turnagain Arm, famous for Bore Tides, to Girdwood. At Crow Creek try your luck gold panning. Optional tram tour up Mt. Alyeska. Overnight at Alyeska Resort.

Day 3 GIRDWOOD - SEWARD - KENAI FJORDS From Seward, depart on a scenic Kenai Fjords cruise to watch for wildlife such as otters, puffins, Stellar sea lions, marine birds, porpoises, whales, mountain goats, etc. Overnight in Seward.

Day 4 SEWARD-KENAI GOLFING - COOPER LANDING The challenging Kenai Golf Course has 18 holes, Par 71, and is approximately 6500 yards long with practice facilities. Travel along the beautiful blue-green Kenai River, famous for it's record size salmon. Overnight at Cooper Landing.

Day 5 COOPER LANDING - PORTAGE - WILDLIFE PARK - WASILLA From Cooper Landing, embark on a scenic float trip. At Portage, visit Begich Boggs Visitor Center to learn about glaciers. At the safari-style wildlife park see moose, bison, musk ox, eagle, caribou, etc. Continue to Wasilla. Overnight in Wasilla.

Day 6 WASILLA - SETTLERS BAY GOLF COURSE - DENALI Settlers Bay Golf Course is 18 holes, Par 72. The front green is moderately difficult, however, the 9th hole is one of the toughest in Alaska. The back green is new and also challenging. Continue north by bus to Denali Park. Overnight at Denali.

Day 7 DENALI WILDLIFE TOUR - TALKEETNA Morning wildlife tour into Denali National Park to watch for bear, moose, caribou, eagles, and more. From Talkeetna, optional flightseeing tours. Overnight at Talkeetna.

Day 8 TALKEETNA - DOG SLEDDING - PALMER Travel by bus to Palmer with a stop for a sled dog kennel visit and a dogsled ride on wheels. Visit the woolly creatures at the Musk Ox Farm. Overnight in Palmer.

Day 9 PALMER GOLF - EKLUTNA - ANCHORAGE The Palmer Golf Course is 18 holes, Par 72, and 7200 yards from Pro Tees. This is a Links type course. Stop at Eklutna to see the brightly colored spirit houses. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 10 ANCHORAGE - DEPARTURE Day of leisure on your own. Visit the museum, the marketplace downtown, Lake Hood, botanical garden, shopping, etc. You will be transferred to the Anchorage Airport for your departure.

The following hiking tours are designed for time most days for a short hike or other optional activities. These tours offer an even greater chance for moderate to strenuous hiking. In a ten day itinerary, five days are set aside to include a full day of hiking.

ALASKA RANGE HIKING 10 Days/9 Nights

Days 1-2 Anchorage - Denali State Park Days 3-6 Denali National Park Days 7-8 Tangle Lakes (lodge) Day 9 Matanuska Glacier Day 10 Hatchers Pass - Anchorage

Concentrating on Alaska's interior, the Alaska Range Hikes features two full days of hiking at both Denali State Park and Denali National Park as well as the Alaska Range and Hatchers Pass in the Chugach Mountains. Other days will include options for shor t hikes, rafting, canoeing and scenic flights.

WRANGELL/KENAI HIKES 10 Days/9 Nights

Day 1 Anchorage - Matanuska Glacier Days 2-4 Wrangell-St Elias National Park (lodge) Days 5-6 Valdez Day 7 by Ferry to Seward Days 8-9 Seward Day 10 Seward - Anchorage

Wrangell St. Elias National Park, Prince William Sound and the Kenai Peninsula are featured on the Wrangell/Kenai Hikes. Two full days are available for hiking from McCarthy in the heart of the Wrangell Mountains. We'll hike on the Shoup Glacier Trail outside of Valdez, and from Seward there are two full days available for hiking in this picturesque area. Other options available are scenic flights, cruises and kayaking in these locations.

SCOUT CAMPING TOUR 7 Days/6 Nights

Experience what Alaska has to offer by camping. Departs Anchorage Sundays June to early September

THE PATHFINDER - KENAI FJORDS KAYAKING 10 Days/9 Nights

Day 1 Anchorage - Chugach Mountains Days 2-3 McCarthy (lodge) Day 4 Valdez Day 5 Ferry Valdez - Seward Days 6-9 Kenai Fjords Kayaking Day 10 Seward - Anchorage

Our Pathfinder tour travels through the Chugach Mountains to spend two nights at a lodge in McCarthy inside the Wrangell St. Elias National Park. Our free day here will be filled with optional ac tivities like a glacier hike or ice climbing, and scenic flights over the icefields. Then, to Valdez, and by ferry through Prince William Sound to Seward. From here by boat for a four day kayak expedition in Kenai Fjords National Park. We'll have a base camp in pristine Holgate Arm, and be able to paddle through icebergs to surrounding tidewater glaciers.
