Reckless Americans have Transportation Boom

by Katie Longden

Hundreds of Steamboat wrecks caused by dangerous driving and unsafe high-pressure engines don't effect Americans. Even with so much loss of life, Americans continue these dangerous acts. Their steamboats run on almost every river in the west and on a few in the east. They claim that these machines help connect the country more and influence better and faster trade.
The railroad and train should have never been allowed in the United States. It is known that they are stupidly dangerous people. In fact, when I visited I found that the reason why it takes them so little time to set up railroad tracks is because they only
set one set of tracks. Many train wrecks occur because of this, two trains colliding, sharp curves, and thawing ice. Now their railroads are reaching Far West on the continent, encouraging expansion.
The one good thing that they can take credit for is the canals that were built. These connect trade centers, and help to move some trade form the west into the east instead of al in the south. Also, the telegraph that was created by Samuel F. Morse is a great invention. This connects people fast and it has even reached over here to Europe now. Although these Americans can be reckless, they also have a few good new inventions.
