This friendly Walrus Sculpture is carved from fossilized
whalebone with jawbone tusks.  Carving is exquisite.

The face of this Spirit Mask is made from a fossilized walrus disk with antler used for the eyes.

The "Happy Fisherman" is carved from fossilized whalebone and stands on a fossilized disk.  The face and fish are carved from walrus jawbone.

Many dolls are available, from leather faced; wooden faced; and horn dolls, as wells as this collectors doll.  The parka is sheared beaver with wolf ruff, and leather banding.  Blue beads adorn the front and back.  The face and hands are porcelain.  The mukluks are from cowhide.

Dance Fans are made by many different natives.  The ones on display here were made in Kenai.  They are woven grass coil fans with caribou hide trim.  These are used by native women during traditional ceremonies

Northern Pike  (Woodcarving)
This is a very detailed carved fish.  Except for the glass eyes it is totally from wood.  The fin 'hairs', as well as the individual scales, show exceptional attention to detail.  (The glass case is included with this display.)  Other species available.

Trout  (Woodcarving)
Another example of a wood carved fish.  This one lacks the individual scales, but the rest of the carving is as exceptional as in the Northern Pike above.  Mounted on a beaver 'chewed' piece of wood on a walnut base.
