Geographical Area Definitions


 Municipality of Anchorage
Includes all 1,955 square miles of Anchorage, including downtown, areas north to Eklutna and south to Portage.

 Mat-Su Area
North of Anchorage, covers the Matanuska-Susitna Valley icluding Palmer, Wasilla, Talkeetna, Willow, Sutton and Eureka.

 Prince William Sound Area
East of Anchorage, includes the largest communities on the Sound: Valdez, Cordova, and Whittier.

 Seward Area
South of Anchorage, covers the northwest area of Kenai Peninsula including Seward.

 Kenai/Soldotna Area
South of Anchorage, covers the northeast area of the Kenai Peninsula including Hope, Cooper Landing, Kenai and Soldotna.

 Homer Area
South of Anchorage, covers the southern and lower west coast of the Kenai Peninsula including Kasilof, Ninilchik, Anchor Point, Homer and Seldovia.

 Mt. McKinley/Denali Area
Morth of Mat-Su Area, covers Denali National Park & Preserve and Healy.

 Copper River Area
North of Prince William Sound and Anchorage, includes Kennicott, McCarthy, Glennallen, Copper Center and Nabesna.

 Rest of Alaska
Lists of members in Alaska communities in areas not listed above;includes, Fairbanks, Barrow, Bethel, Tok, as well as other Alaskan cities.
