The Kenai Canoe Trail System is located within the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and is one of two wilderness canoe systems in the United States established by Congress. There are approximately 70 lakes interconnected by over 150 miles of waterways and land portages to be explored. This area also contains many lakes that are not connected by waterways or established portages, and as a result are seldom visited. |

The Kenai wilderness offers some excellent fishing opportunities for rainbow trout, char, red and silver salmon. Using ultra light tackle enables a thrilling angling experience!
Stocking does not take place in the canoe system so the fish you catch are wild stock. Most of our fishing is catch and release, but you can't beat a dinner of fresh caught trout!

Wildlife in the canoe system includes such creatures as bears (black and brown), moose, lynx, wolves, coyotes, river otters, minks, beaver, loons, bald eagles, kingfishers, trumpeter swans and more.

Your trip starts at our Sterling
home base where there is ample
parking. After a brief safety and
orientation session, your things are
loaded into our van and we're off
on your Alaskan wilderness adventure.
All trips are custom planned to meet the challenge level and
interests of your party. We know the canoe trails and would
be happy to plan a trip for you.
