VERNAIR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

VERNAIR has been in the aircraft maintenance business for 25 years. The owner and operator Lavern (Vern) Ulmer is an A & P and IA, with 51 years experience, from J-3 Cubs to Fighter Jets. Vern has been on Merrill Field Airport for 34 years. The Maintenance Foreman has 41 years experience, and has also worked on everything from J-3 Cubs to Fighter Jets. Together, we have a combined total of  92 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

We work together closely, combining our experience to serve you. We have been working together for 22 years at VERNAIR, and also 4 years in the U. S. Air Force. We are also a drug free company.

We have a 6,000 square foot hangar, large enough for 2 Beavers and 2 Cessna 206s at the same time. We can accomplish all of your maintenance needs, from annual and 100 hour inspections, modifications, engine repairs and engine changes, to air frame, sheet metal, and fabric repairs. If you have a problem with your aircraft, we can solve it.

We do thorough inspections by the checklist and maintenance manuals. We return a safe, clean aircraft to you, which will stay out in the field for 100 hours with little or no problems until the next inspection.

We have licensed and experienced A & P mechanics to serve you.

We do quality work and do not cut corners. We also have quick access to the parts required to keep your planes in the air. So, why not give us a try? You will be glad you did!  If you are tired of paying out good money for aircraft maintenance and repairs, and not receiving a good product in return, or if you are tired of not having your aircraft ready when you want it, then give VERNAIR a try.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Lavern O. Ulmer

President
