 First Aid Kit

Do you have a first aid kit when you go diving?  Here is a list of some of   the things you might want to put into one. 

Tylenol                     For head aces/muscle aces

Ant-acid                    For that upset stomach

Band-Aids/Gauze   For cuts scraps abrasions should have lots of different   kinds and sizes

Cold packs           for bruises/swelling

Hot packs           To relieve pain and to warm

Scissors            Cut material or Gauze

Vinegar            Wash stinging cell of jellyfish or other critters off

Antiseptic              To keep wounds from getting infected

Twisers        To pull out splinters of wood/glass

Fruit Juice       For diabetics or Hypothermia to give liquid

Clear Frosting       For diabetics or Hypothermia to give energy

Sea sickness medicine      For a rough day after the dive

Sharp scalpel or razorblades     For cutting

Calamine lotion       For rashes/sunburn

Bug spray       Keep the insects from biting you

Thermometer       Electronic or rectal for checking core temp

Splints        For securing broken bones should have a verity of different   ones

Pocket mask       For rescue breathing

Latex gloves       Incase you might come in contact with bodily fluids

Eye wash       For flushing eyes out

Stethoscope       For listening to hart rate

Flares        Signal for help

Water proof tape       For securing bandages

Water proof Matches/lighter     For starting a fire to rearm

 Also in a separate kit you should carry O2.

 These are just some of the things you can carry there is always more you can   add.
