We at the Palmer Vet Clinic love pets and believe they add immeasureably to our lives.
Unfortunately, not all pets get the loving homes they deserve, and hundreds of wonderful
animals are put to sleep at the local shelter each year. We encourage you to think about
adopting next time you are looking for a new pet. Most of our employees'
pets have been adopted or rescued and we like to believe we have the greatest pets around! Visit Mat-Valley Puppies Rescue Group for photos of a cat or dog that could enrich your life. If you are not looking for a permanent pet, consider helping out by fostering an animal from the Mat-Su Animal Control shelter using this same site. If you are looking for a truely Alaskan dog, check out this fantastic site devoted to finding homes for huskies, aptly named Homes for Huskies. Homes for Huskies is a rescue group in Eagle River, Alaska. Occasionally here at the clinic we will have a dog or cat at the clinic that needs to find a special home, and you will find a photo and description of the pet on this page.Click here to see some pet adoption success stories! |

Tre Tre is a 1-year old Lab/Shepherd mix looking for a great home. Dut to an unfortunate accident this winter, he lost a rear leg. He was given to a technician here at the Clinic to save him and find him a home. Tre is a sweet, energetic boy who loves people and other dogs. He needs friends and a fenced yard to run in. He's athletic and loves to run and is very vocal at play. He is neutered and vaccinated. He's learning basic commands, manners and retrieving. If you would like to meet Tre, please contact Carol at the Clinic by phone or email. |

Lolly This sweet little girl was brought into the clinic on April 5th, 2001, as a stray picked up by Mat-Su Animal Control. She is about 2 years old and very very thin. She's been on her own for a while it looks, but with proper care and some brushing out, she will make a beautiful addition to some special family. She was spayed on April 6th and is ready to go to a new home. She is sweet as can be but is full of energy and needs a home where she can get plenty of excercise and basic training. Call the clinic at 745-3219 if you would like to meet this special dog. UPDATE... Check out Success Stories to see Lolly now, all cleaned up and happy! |

Willow Willow got adopted before her picture made it to the website, but she is so cute we had to show her off anyway! She had a real "hard luck" story, and after spending weeks at the clinic healing and gaining weight, she now has a great new home and has become a house husky. |
