Join me on a trip to the South of France!

Visit the most wonderful places in the region of Provence on a ten-day trip.

Great Scenery, Shopping, Food & Wine!

I think the most charming part of Provence lies between the cities of Avignon and Aix en Provence. Here you will find the best of the wines, hilltop villages, and shopping along with the colorful fabrics, outdoor markets, special cheeses, artists, Roman ruins, lavender fields, Mediterranean climate and relaxed lifestyle found throughout the region.

Hotel in Saignon
Hotel in Saignon
Let me share my love for this area with you. We'll enjoy a relaxed pace, stay in charming hotels, and enjoy wonderful meals in a unique and fascinating part of France. You'll have a great time and be amazed at the variety of sights and flavors.
During the trip we will stay at least two nights in each of four intriguing towns and visit several wonderful sites. First we will stay in the classy city of Aix en Provence, a university town with lots of interesting sites and great shopping. Next we will stay just outside Saintes-Maries-des-les-Mer in the heart of the Carmargue region, an area with a beach, fun shops, good birding, and an option to ride one of the white horses that are a characteristic of this region. After the Carmargue, we'll visit the upscale town of St. Remy, and finally the charming hilltop village of Saignon, near Apt. I have timed our stay in all four towns to coincide with market days. Besides enjoying charming hotels, wonderful restaurants, and local attractions in each of these areas, we will also visit the Chateauneuf du Pape wine region, an unusual show of images in a cave, Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Senanque Abby, the hilltop villages of Roussillon and Gordes, and the Palace of the Popes in Avignon. (See itinerary.)
